SAIC is looking to hire a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of our cloud infrastructure hosted on Azure. You will lead a team of cloud professionals in managing, optimizing, and supporting the Azure environment to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of services for our organization. Your role includes supporting and championing the incident management, service request management, change management, and problem management processes as well as ensuing best practices are being adhered to by your team members.
Responsibilities
· Lead the Azure operations team in maintaining and operating the Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure 24/7 service availability.
· Develop and implement policies and procedures for the operation, maintenance, and support of the Azure cloud environment.
· Collaborate with the security and other functional areas to align Azure operations with broader IT and organization objectives.
+ Monitor and manage cloud resources to optimize performance, cost, and scalability
+ Drive the incident management process including troubleshooting, communicating, and post-mortem analysis.
+ Oversee the deployment of updates, patches, and new configuration in a manner that minimizes impact on services.
+ Establish and monitor Azure operational metrics and provide regular performance reports.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new Azure features and services and integrate them into the existing cloud environment
+ Manage and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of technical excellence
+ Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for support and troubleshooting
+ Adhere to and enforce compliance with industry and regulatory standards relevant to Azure clod services
+ Stay abreast of technology trends and developments in the Azure cloud operations.
+ Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
+ Support the automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for the Azure environment; write, build and deploy scripts.
+ Enable observability and resilience throughout cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
+ Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.

+ Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience. 12 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.
+ Must be U.S Citizen or have a Nationalization Certificate in hand
+ Must be able to obtain a public of Trust clearance
+ Proven experience leading an operations team in a cloud or IT environment
+ Demonstrated ability to mange and mentor a technical team.
+ Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
+ Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
+ Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
+ CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
+ CSPs including Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI
+ Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
+ PowerShell or Bash Scripting
+ Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
+ Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
+ Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
+ Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
+ Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
