Azure Security Architect - Contract - Hybrid (Brussels)

We are seeking an experienced Azure Security Architect to design and implement secure Azure architectures, ensuring robust network designs, identity protection, and data encryption. This role involves applying zero-trust principles, conducting IT risk assessments, and translating technical vulnerabilities into business risks while delivering high-quality security consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design security-first Azure architectures, leveraging tools like Conditional Access, Azure Firewall, and Azure Bastion. Conduct risk assessments and recommend security controls for applications and infrastructure. Translate technical risks into business language and provide actionable recommendations. Document security artifacts such as risk assessments, Statements of Work, and security baselines. Partner with stakeholders to resolve conflicts while maintaining security principles. Lead cross-functional teams to enhance compliance with security policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with Azure security tools and zero-trust architectures. Strong knowledge of IT risk assessments and security domains (networks, OS, databases, encryption). Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-500) and familiarity with compliance standards are a plus.
