Leadership Principles.

The primary focus for this role is to architect Azure-based Data and Analytics solutions that will be part of the foundation of digital & technology agenda. The Azure Solutions Architect will be directly involved in all aspects of the solution lifecycle including the architecture, design, development, delivery, and support of analytics solutions built on our Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop & maintain platform road maps for the Cloud-based products supporting the Data & Analytics solutions. This will require working collaboratively with multiple teams within the Global Technology organization, as well as vendors and third-party service providers. Deploy and modify Azure resources using Terraform scripting. Manage user access to all cloud resources deployed for Data and Analytics like ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data factory. Communicate effectively both verbally and written with Technology project teams, IS staff, and Management

 

Technical, Solution Architecture and Design Skills for the following:

 

Implement and monitor Azure infrastructure (Storage accounts, VMs, VNets, Ads, AKS, etc)Implement and configure Key Vault and Manage Identities Database optimization techniques and best practices

 

University degree in Computer Science (or related field of study) or equivalent work experienceAdvanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance.A track record of implementing and maintaining best practices and standards Azure Databricks Platform Architect certification is desirable.
