Become part of our Azure Virtual Desktop team at KION Group IT.

Be co-responsible for endpoint modernization – designing, building, and migrating to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) based on best practices.You are responsible for the administration and management of virtual desktop infrastructures and environments with a focus on user experience and performance.Look forward to a lot of exchange, networking and togetherness.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your tasks are:

You validate components of the Azure infrastructure as part of the AVD / W365 deployment.You will be responsible for publishing AVD desktop/application solutions and will be responsible for application delivery.You optimize, scale and monitor the virtual desktop infrastructures.You will analyze and evaluate cloud resources and develop strategies for cost optimization, capacity and lifecycle management, and governance.You will take care of PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.You will help shape safety standards and check compliance with them.

Virtual desktop technologies such as AVD, Windows 365PowerShellIntune and Azure management of VDI environmentsUser Configuration Management (Intune, GPO, Profiles, FSLogix)M365 Service StackAdvantageous: Experience in technologies Citrix, Remote Desktop or other VMWare, Active Directory, Conditional Access, Storage and Networking

 

Your Skills and Expertise: <max. 8 Required functional competencies/experience/qualifications>

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, Business Administration or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in the field of Microsoft AzureKnowledge of and experience in PowerShell, Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure Active Directory, Intune, VDI, VMware, CitrixMicrosoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) certificate would be beneficial.Good communication skills and ability to work in a global team.
