Service business is booming and we are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our exceptional service team. We have immediate openings and offer a steady workload and a cooperative uplifting team approach. This is a great position to gain dealership experience with hands-on, on-the-job training. Compared to the box stores like Valvoline and Kwik Kar, you will be trained by and work alongside Certified Hyundai technicians with 7-15 year tenures at our store and even more personal experience. Extensive on the job and classroom training is available for those who are career focused!

Schedule is 4, 10-hour shifts during the week plus 8am-3pm every other Saturday.

Automotive Mechanic Technician Duties include but are not limited to:

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
Locate appropriate repair guides and adhere to specific protocol per factory direction.
Use shop equipment and diagnostic equipment with confidence and in accordance with all safety procedures.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order in Dealertrack and Xtime software.
Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
Road-test vehicle to ensure concern is rectified.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Communicate with service advisors.
Other items as deemed necessary by management.
Automotive Technician Qualifications:

Must be a dependable, success-driven, customer service oriented team player with impressive work ethic, trustworthy reputation.

12 months experience, Hyundai experience is a PLUS, powertrain experience is a PLUS
High School Diploma / GED required
Must have a current, valid driver's license with less than 3 violations in the past 7 years
Must have a basic set of tools
Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions
