Job Duties:
Design and develop integration experience platforms.Reduce friction in serving our customers by building highly engaging application. Develop EDI maps for ANSI X12 & EDIFACT standards. Enhance the existing EDI maps & business processes and work on upgrades/rewrites/sunsets of existing applications.Work with new trading partners to create mapping requirement specifications from their guidelines for the EDI service provider to develop the maps.Send and receive files through the Liaison ECS Management Console using FTP, SFTP, and AS2.Gather and analyze business requirements and ensure that underlying application technology meets both short-term and long-term business needs and that system designs can adapt to emerging business and technology demands.Work with new trading partners to create mapping requirement specifications from their guidelines for the EDI service provider to develop the maps and business processes.Communicate the progress of open items and work with other developers and external trading partners.Document business requirements, business process, systems requirements and testing.Prepare unit test cases, component test cases, and user test cases for application development.Some telecommuting is permitted.*This position qualifies under the company’s employee referral program.*
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 5 years of experience as Software Developer, Software Development Specialist, Systems Engineer, or related.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience with each of the following: (1) Develop maps for the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) using ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards; (2) Send and receive files through the Liaison ECS Management Console using FTP, SFTP, and AS2; and (3) Work with new trading partners to create mapping requirement specifications from their guidelines for the EDI service provider to develop the maps and business processes.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $84,500 - 136,100 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
