is looking for a person for position of:
B2B Portfolio Manager
location: Katowice, Poland
Main responsibilities:
managing a B2B portfolio (energy, gas, certificates), monitoring and optimizing existing contracts,ensuring compliance with agreements and company strategy, analysing the electricity and gas markets, identifying key trends, investment opportunities and potential risk, developing and refining hedging strategies, adapting them to changing market conditions, managing the process of setting prices for electricity and gas for the Sales Department, monitoring and analysing the performance of the energy and gas sales portfolio, managing P&L for the positions and ensuring transparent and regular reporting, working closely with other departments and group companies (Brussels, Paris), including local and central GEMS BP Downstream, monitoring and managing market and operational risks.
Candidate profile:
university degree, preferred fields: mathematics, technical, economics, minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position, knowledge of electricity market mechanisms in Poland and Europe, TGE broker license is considered as strong asset, pragmatic, economic, and logical approach combined with problem-solving skills, knowledge of the fundamentals in the power markets, good knowledge of IT/IS applications and tools, especially practical ability to apply new IT solutions in portfolio management and trading, advanced level of English Fluent in Polish
