Description
We are seeking a highly collaborative, creative, and intellectually curious Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of cutting-edge data analytics solutions for North American Insurance operations. The ideal candidate will excel in a team environment, navigate complexity and ambiguity, and demonstrate an eagerness to learn and succeed. A background in analytics, business acumen, and familiarity with agile project management are essential to succeed in this role. The candidate will manage projects through their entire lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and post-implementation support.
Responsibilities:
+ Engage with stakeholders in North America Data and Analytics to understand business needs and requirements related to insurance products, processes, and services.
+ Analyze and document complex business systems and processes, identifying gaps and proposing solutions for improvement.
+ Develop business cases and project proposals, outlining benefits, costs, and risks.
+ Collaborate with business owners and technology teams to translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
+ Embrace and learn new technologies such as GenAI, ChatGPT, and advanced AI/ML solutions.
+ Lead impact analysis activities to assess the business impact of proposed solution changes.
+ Work with Global Analytics and IT teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications for insurance systems and interfaces.
+ Participate in user acceptance testing, create test cases and scripts, support user testing, and track issues for timely resolution.
+ Develop training documentation, user manuals, and end-user guides for systems and applications.
+ Collaborate with project managers, data scientists, developers, testers, and stakeholders to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets.
+ Monitor and report on the progress of analytics projects in collaboration with PMO team members.
Additional Information:
Hybrid (minimum 3 days a week onsite, except Fridays)
Job Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Requirements
Skills:
+ Knowledge of insurance products, processes, and regulations, preferably in property and casualty insurance.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
+ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Effective relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and manage expectations.
+ Project management expertise, with experience managing multiple projects in an agile environment.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools is a plus.
Education / Experience:
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, change management, transformation, or business process management in the data analytics field.
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
+ Experience in the insurance domain or a strong interest in learning the insurance business.
+ Commitment to staying current with advancements in the data and analytics field.
