Join us as a Municipal Banker Analyst at Barclays where you’ll have the chance to cultivate and maintain relationships with local government entities, public sectors organization and other municipal clients. You will be working closely with senior bankers to develop financing solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job specific technical skills.

Additional relevant experience of 4+ years within the municipal space, demonstrated interest in public policy and series 7, 52, and 63 are highly valued.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 110,000

Salary / Rate Maximum: 125,000

This role is based in New York.

Purpose of the role

To raise capital and manage the financial risk of clients, including financial advisory services, identification and origination of market opportunities, research, economic analysis. 

Accountabilities

Identification and cultivation of relationships with potential clients, including corporations, institutions, or government entities.Market research and analysis to identify industry trends, potential deal opportunities, and client needs.Collaboration with internal teams to develop pitch materials, financial models, and presentations for client meetings and transactions.Structuring and execution of deals, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services.Due diligence process coordination, timeline management, and liaising between various stakeholders involved in transactions.
