You will be part of a dynamic agile working team of IT and Business professionals spread around globe. **Tasks and responsibilities** + As a member of an agile Product Team, you will build innovative products that address a real internal customer need, from prototyping to a full productive and scalable solution. + You will consult and influence the team and key stakeholders to develop and maintain solutions in close alignment with the overall IT architecture and IT strategy. + As a Backend Developer in IT RDM Medicine, you will be responsible for setting up the backend services for fully fledged applications in the area. This includes: + Design, development, testing and delivery of fully functional web-based and mobile applications for IT RDM using the latest programming languages and frameworks, taking into account applicable legal and regulatory requirements. + Development of high-quality code, including adequate quality component / integration testing and code documentation for product increments in fast iterations + Service-oriented integration of technologies into the backend architecture, considering the standard architecture framework of Boehringer Ingelheim. + Support, maintenance and optimization of our development and production system environments, including the continuous delivery pipeline, to ensure reliable and continuous delivery of the solution to users. + Efficient and reliable maintenance of the systems by creating and applying automation tools and scripts for repetitive tasks. **Requirements ** + Bachelor's degree with corresponding professional experience or Master's degree + Experience in the development of software technologies (at least 3 years of experience in software technologies) + Familiarized with frameworks in the context of back-end development and best practices. + Expertise in different environments and stages of development + Capabilities in continuous development and development tools, as well as container platforms and management systems + Experience in the following areas: + Using state-of-the-art programming languages as well as modern backend frameworks and APIs to build scalable web-based and mobile applications. + Proven knowledge in software development testing and test automation (unit testing, regression testing, etc.) + Experience in Version Control Systems (preferred GIT) + Experience in database technologies and query languages (SQL, PostgreSQL, GraphQL) + JavaScript, Typescript, React and/or Angular.
