Description We are offering an opportunity for a back end Developer to join our team based in Fort Myers, Florida. This role is centered around backend development, focusing on Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle platforms, and the development of REST APIs. This position provides a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain backend applications using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. • Create and manage REST APIs to facilitate communication between different parts of the software. • Collaborate with the team to design and implement new software applications. • Test and debug new applications and updates. • Document all application development processes. • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and functionality. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing software. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current. Requirements • Proficiency in Backend Development is a must, with a solid understanding of the entire web development process. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. • Experience with Oracle is required, particularly in developing and managing large-scale applications. • Familiarity with REST API is necessary, as the role involves integrating various software components. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience as an Application Developer or similar role. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically. • Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles. • Good teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude. • Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology trends and apply them in the job.
