Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a full time (40 hours per week) Technical Opportunity Manager for their Loves Park, IL location. The rate of pay is $92,000-$97,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for direct sales activities support as well as technical identification, qualification, and business evaluation of standard, customized, or project-based drive development opportunities with GKAs and OEMs.  Works closely with Research & Development and Manufacturing teams to coordinate activities and help to negotiate commercial aspects of project design and release phases. Background & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.   4 years experience applying Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) solutions to equipment and systems.  3 years experience with harmonic mitigation solutions using regional and global standards at system level and at drive terminals. 1 year experience in technical sales/support and marketing.
