Bravo Communications Services LLC is leading the Identity Credential Access Management Next Gen Single Sign On (ICAM NG SSO) program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program aims to modernize the VA's Single Sign-On (SSO) technology to enhance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Position Overview

The Backend Developer will develop and maintain the backend components of the ICAM NG SSO system. This role involves writing code, developing APIs, and ensuring system performance and security.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend components of the ICAM NG SSO system.Write clean, efficient, and secure code.Develop and maintain APIs for system integration.Ensure system performance and security.Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.Conduct code reviews and provide feedback.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Develop and maintain technical documentation.Implement and manage backend tools and technologies.Provide technical support and guidance to the team. Required Experience/Qualifications Proven experience in backend development.Strong understanding of SSO technologies and backend systems.Excellent coding and problem-solving skills.Experience with API development and integration.Knowledge of security best practices.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with backend frameworks and libraries.Familiarity with database management systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of software development methodologies. Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience working with federal agencies.Certification in backend development.Knowledge of VA systems and processes.Experience in managing large-scale backend systems.Familiarity with federal procurement processes.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.Experience in performance tuning and optimization.Strong project management skills.Understanding of cloud-based backend solutions.Experience in system migration and modernization.
