What you’ll do ​& Who you are

We are currently looking for a Backend Developer (Golang) to join the "Maps" feature teamThe team :
The Maps team is a crucial strategic pillar for Leboncoin. Our mission is to revolutionize the local ad search experience through cutting-edge mapping features integrated across all our platforms.We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary international team, composed of :
• 2 Backend developers
• 2 iOS developers
• 2 Android developers
• 1 Web developer
• 1 Quality Analyst
• 1 Product Manager
• 1 Engineering Manager
Our strength lies in our close collaboration with the Data and UX teams, allowing us to create innovative, high-performance mapping solutions perfectly adapted to the needs of our users, whether they are individuals or professionals.
Strategic objectives for 2025 :
1. Maps Experience: Redefine Leboncoin's cartographic search standards by offering a smooth, intuitive, and immersive experience. We aim to reduce friction and increase user engagement on this local search mode, which is very suitable for the real estate sector.
2. Maps Precision : Significantly enhance the user experience by perfecting our neighborhood management and increasing the volume of precise addresses. Our goal is to achieve unmatched geographical granularity in the market.
3. Maps Visibility: Develop cutting-edge algorithms to highlight the most relevant properties and information for each user.
As the Maps team, we are determined to push the boundaries of geospatial search innovation, thus contributing significantly to Leboncoin's success and growth. Our commitment to technical excellence and user experience positions us as an essential driver of our company's growth.Your missions :
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and high-performance backend services within the Maps scope
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our microservices architecture
• Collaborate closely with our product managers, UX, and frontend teams to implement new features
• Optimize the performance and scalability of our servicesQualifications :

• Experience with mapping / geospatial search topics
• At least 5 years of backend development experience, including 2 years in Golang
• Experience with distributed architectures, event-driven systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Kafka and other message broker systems
• Ability to evaluate architectural decisions; make trade-offs, take decisions, and implement them
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL
• Knowledge and practice of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban Flow)
• Aptitude for teamwork, knowledge sharing, and helping others
• Good level of English to enable technical communication with Adevinta teamsAdditional information :
• Position based in Paris (10th arrondissement)
• Compensation based on education level / experience level
• Partial remote work possible (minimum 2 days on-site per 2-week sprint)Interview process :

• 1 technical test + technical interview with Back-End lead
• 1 manager interview
