We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our growing team. This position is remote in Mexico.

 

Position Overview: 
You will learn the domain of e-discovery and remote forensics while acquiring good perception of our business objectives. You will take full ownership of features from design through implementation to delivery, you will be working together with stakeholders and other team members to bring great value to our customers. We are looking for someone eager to learn and solve complex problems. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 

You will be working on our SaaS based enterprise forensic/e-discovery solution while facing complex software challenges.  You will be responsible for full development lifecycle from design, implementing features, till production phase.  You will take part in modernization and refactoring.  Improve performance and scalability of the application.  Take part in the way we shape our target architecture of applications and services.  You will be part of an Agile multi-geographic team. 

 
Qualifications: 

You are a backend or full stack software engineer who is seeking the bigger picture. You have experience in building high-performing & scalable applications. You are curious about new technologies and frameworks.  4+ years of object-oriented software development experience, at least 2 years in C#.  Experience with GO, C++ is an advantage.  Good knowledge of .NET and C# internals.  Experience in Micro Services architecture.  Experience with building AWS (or Azure) cloud-based systems.  Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL) is an advantage.  Experience with queues and event-driven infrastructure – NATS.  Willingness to troubleshoot and continuously improve external parts of the system and infrastructure.  Superb communication skills.

 

Top Must Haves:
Minimum of 4 years of pure development experience. 
1. Cloud native development experience (basic knowledge on AWS) or API.
2. Understand difficult data structures (reverse engineering, databases and understand schemas and extract information).
3. Strong communication skills (client facing).
4. Go language experience is preferred. C# (second preference) or Java is fine as well (backend full stack).
