Join ING Retail Tech PH as a Backend Engineer where you will be part of a cross-functional team of talented individuals. Together, your team will work with the latest technologies to innovate and develop solutions. Key Capabilities/Experience

Proven track-record of building backend solutions, including implementing RESTful APIs, interfacing with databases, and integrating with messaging services, using a modern tech stackStrong fundamentals in software development, including proficiency in OOP, functional programming, design patterns, concurrency, and TDDExperience with CI/CD pipelines and test automationExperience working in Agile, collaborating with teams, and demonstrating adaptability

in a multicultural environment

• Willingness to learn cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and IT risk

Minimum Qualifications

Must have skills:

Highly experienced in Java and Spring Boot programming Knowledge in RESTful API developmentKafka, Schema Registry and Kafka Connect, Kafka Streaming APIExperienced in Scrum and AgileGood general knowledge of software development and test automationCompetent in CI/CD, including writing scripts for delivery pipeline, experience with Azure DevOps.Proven track record in this role, preferably in an international environmentWillingness and ability to automate to the bone and master new technologies is a must-haveGreat English communication skills, verbal as well as writtenAutomate any repetitive tasks (eg. daily monitoring), using any scripting or programming language.Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team

Experience in ELK stack is preferredStrong database skills , is able to do performance optimization for queriesKnowledgeable in Documentum APIWrite OS scripts: Linux shell scriptsIs capable of analyzing and resolve IT Risk
