Mobileye is looking for a Backend Team Leader to lead the development of a state-of-the-art Data Platform.Autonomous vehicle projects are generating huge amounts of data, and our challenge is to enable it for usage by the entire organization (Deep Learning/Machine Learning developers, Validation engineers, Analysts, Product Managers and more).We are using a cutting-edge tech stack to tackle complex challenges, including multiple databases, big data technologies, web frameworks and AWS infrastructure.You will have a major role in the development of core parts of our Data Platform.What will your job look like:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend developers, fostering growth and technical excellence.Take ownership of the end-to-end development process, including task prioritization, on-time feature delivery and identifying technical bottlenecks.Collaborate closely with Product, Algorithm, Validation, and DevOps teams to define and implement new features.Ensure high-quality code through best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.Lead by example by taking ownership, being proactive and collaborating.Stay hands-on (~50%) by actively developing features and reviewing code.All you need is:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degreeAt least 2 years of management experience and at least 7 years as BE engineer.Experience in managing highly skilled developers, and the ability to lead, coach, guide and influence them.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.Strong skills in PythonExperience with microservice architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Advantages:Experience with one of the following solutions: Spark, Presto, Trino, Athena or Drill is an advantage.Mobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles.
