Software Backend Engineer (f/m/d) for Data Management applications
You will play a crucial role in developing Data Lifecycle Tools to support data, metadata and knowledge management in operations. In this way, you actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS, driven by ZEISS Digital Partners.
Given the ZEISS-wide and inter-disciplinary relevance of Data Lifecycle Management, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders from ZEISS business units and from ZEISS Digital Partners.

Requirements:
· Excellent university degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or in a related field
· 3-7 years of relevant professional experience in IT:
Professional development skills in Python/Java/ScalaExperience with Cloud technologies like Microsoft AzureDistributed processing frameworks: Spark-based data transformations (Databricks, Data Factory), search engines (Elastic), graph databases and analytical or in-memory database systems (SQL and No-SQL)Productionalising and publishing data services as scalable, performant Data APIsStrong Experience in Data Modelling, Pipeline Orchestration and Scheduling (ex: Airflow) and Data Artifacts deployment (ex: Azure DEVOPS, Gitlab)Professional Experience in multiple forms of Data Storages (Azure Blob, Synapsis) and their interrogation (SQL)Extent development of serverless (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics) or container based applications (Kubernetes)Cloud-based development artifacts (Terraform)Agile Software-development using Scrum / KanbanBest-practices and implementation for continuous integration / deliveryTechnical development and integration of User-Request Workflows through reusable Rest APIsExperience with Monitoring and Logging is a plus (Elastic, Datadog, witboost)· A strong ownership for developed products
· A strong customer-oriented mindset, UI/UX experience is a plus
· An independent, conscientious and solution-oriented way of working
· Fluency in English
