THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Production Supervisor for the Fiber and Utilities areas has primary responsibility for managing the safety, reliability, cost, quality, productivity, and employee engagement in a goal-oriented environment. They also have a secondary responsibility to effectively communicate with the Paper Department Shift Supervisors to ensure effective 24/7 operations of the Florence Mill.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT WESTROCK:
Administers and model’s safety in his/her area of responsibility; Participates in and supports the safety programs for the Mill; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for employees. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred5-10 years of experience in Pulp and Paper industry is preferred Supervisory experience preferredEngineering or Paper Science degree preferredProcess Engineering experience a plusComputer working knowledge such as Microsoft Office Suite, PI Processbook, Parcview, JD Edwards, etc.
