Are you ready to embark on a technical adventure and become a hero to our external and internal users? As Technical Support at Kyndryl, you'll be part of an elite team that provides exceptional technical assistance, enabling our clients to achieve their desired business outcomes.
You'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs.
You'll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations.
As Technical Support, you'll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You'll also have the opportunity to perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts for clients, ensuring that all related administrative duties are completed within Service Level Agreement objectives.
You will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of – and taking action on the problem.

**Role and Responsibilities:**
+ Installation and configuration of Backup software.
+ Setting up tape backup devices
+ Respond quickly and effectively to backup issues and outages.
+ Creation of reports for both clients and management
+ Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations for storage Backup support
+ Experience with Spectrum Protect, Spectrum Protect Plus.
+ Knowledge Hitachi, Oracle, IBM Storage and EMC arrays preferred.
+ Experience with Rubrik, Networker, AVAMAR, NetBackup, TSM & SPP.
+ End to end to support of TSM IBM Spectrum Protect and SPP infrastructure
+ Configuring Policy Management based on the Client requirements
+ Troubleshooting Recovery LOG DB and Storage pool issues Install Configuring B A Client Storage Agent TDP SQL TDP
+ Exchange and triggering manual backup Checking Client and Admin Schedules and if any failures triggering manual backup like TSM server processes expiration DBBACKUP Migration Reclamation Resolving the issues based on the priority and within the SLA Skills.
+ Experience Configuring SERVER process like Expiration Storage Pool Migration Collocation and Reclamation of TAPE Storage Pool Volumes Checking administrative schedules like DB BACKUP BACKUP STG if any failures working on it based on the priority.
+ Registering nodes to the proper Policy Domain and associating to schedules Checking activity log for any HARDWARE or Application related errors Configuring library and library paths drives and drive paths device class
+ Configuring NAS NDMP and Storage Agent Backup If any Drive related or Volume related errors move the data of the volume to destroy the Volume based on the number of READ WRITE errors AUDIT VOLUME if any inconsistency in VOLUMES DATA RESTORE VOLUME Audit Library if any mismatch in LIBRARY inventory and TSM inventory TDP VMware TDP Oracle TDP SQL and TDP Exchange Skills
+ Implementation and Upgradation of Rubrik, TSM Maintaining minimum number of scratch volumes Capacity Management
+ Basic Operating System Network SAN Knowledge on Tape Library .
+ Good communication skills, Need to participate in client meetings.
+ Handle regular day to day IT Infra operations.
+ Working on Service Desk tickets.
+ Coordinating with IT stake holders to fix the issues.
+ Participate in internal/external audits to showcase the IT compliance status.
+ Perform the IT related task and update the status higher management on regularly.
+ Participating in Day/Weekly status review meetings
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Required Professional and Technical Expertise:**
+ Candidate should have 4+ Years of experience in Rubrik, TSM, Networker & Spectrum Protect Administrator.
+ Willing to work in Shifts 24*7 from Client location.
+ Rubrik, TSM, Network Server Management Client Management Registration Installation configuring client parameters associating to schedules and scheduler service configuring
+ Tape Management check in check out Audit volume restore volume Scratch Maintenance Library Management Drive status cleaning and power cycling
+ Gripper issues Audit Library and Health Check of all Rubrik & TSM SERVERS checking all reports of TSM SERVERS Configuring and administration of Rubrik & TSM SERVERS
**Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:** ****
+ BE/ BTech/MCA/Diploma.
