Key Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain backup systems, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting backups. + Ensure data integrity and availability by performing regular backup and restore tests. + Administer and support Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance. + Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems. + Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures. + Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff. + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure remains current and secure Qualifications: + Proven experience as a Backup and Windows Administrator or similar role. + Strong knowledge of backup and recovery software and best practices. + Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting. + Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. + Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
