The Balance Sheet Mgmt Sr. Grp Mgr exhibits In-depth understanding of understanding of bank balance sheet management and optimization, and how Non-Traded Market Risk with a particular focus on Foreign Currency Risk in the Banking Book (FXRBB) contribute to achieving Corporate Treasury’s balance sheet optimization objectives and Citi’s strategic goals. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills is required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in designed area. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Impact reflects strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. May be involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities. This role reports to Head of Treasury Non-Trading Market Risk (excluding IRRBB),and functions as an integral member of the functional leadership team in Treasury. The role requires collaborating and influencing decisions across various disciplines , engaging with relatively senior stakeholders to drive outcome that are aligned with Citi’s strategic business objectives and managing applicable governance processes and complex stakeholder management. Further, the role will be driving enhancements in Citi’s Non-Traded Market Risk frameworks which will require decisions on highly complex financial/mathematical methodologies and processes. **Qualifications:** + 15+ years of experience within financial services and foreign currency transaction and market experience. 10+ years of experience in 1st line foreign currency risk management is preferred + Extensive experience building, enhancing and executing 1st line foreign currency risk in the banking book + Solid understanding of financial products on a bank's balance sheet + Established effective leadership and management skills with ability to build relationships + Clear concise communication skills, both oral and written + Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability + Solid understanding of the Treasury function within a bank + Ability to multi-task and ability to work under pressure **Education: A bachelor degree is required** ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Finance ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Balance Sheet Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $170,000.00 - $300,000.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
