As a Bank Security Specialist you will be responsible for providing support to the security function of the Bank. Maintain alarm and surveillance equipment, gather and analyze statistical information and data, and foster working partnerships with employees, vendors, and law enforcement. Administer and comply with Security Policies and Procedures.In this role you'll have the opportunity to:Assist the Senior Bank Security Specialist and Bank Security Manager in administering the Bank’s security and physical safety programs.Responsible for contributing to the maintenance of the written security policies and procedures, including content and training.Responsible for responding to security situations and working closely with law enforcement officials.Maintain, and ensure the adequacy of, security equipment, including branch surveillance systems, alarm panels, and alarms. Assist with investigations as needed. Assist with centralized cash, fraud, and operations support center functions as needed.Prepare and provide security alerts and information to branches.Analyze security statistical information and develop reports for department use. Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.Education & CertificationsH.S. Diploma: required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) Experience0 to 2 years of experience in retail operations, risk management, security, or related field, preferably including experience in the banking environment required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesPossess strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills while ensuring attention to details. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced interpersonal skills with ability to deal effectively with employees, vendors, and law enforcement. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to handle confidential matters with an appropriate level of judgment and maturity. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to bank operations and security.
