Description We are in the process of recruiting a Bank Teller for our Savings & Loan industry operations in Bakersfield, California, 93309, United States. This role entails executing a variety of banking operations and customer service tasks. In addition, it involves the use of accounting software systems and maintaining cash balances. Responsibilities • Oversee the execution of banking operations, including cash deposits and disbursements. • Employ accounting software systems such as Aderant and Costpoint for financial services. • Contribute to accounting functions, specifically Accounts Receivable (AR). • Handle cash drawers, ensuring accurate cash balance at all times. • Provide exceptional levels of customer service, resolving customer inquiries swiftly and efficiently. • Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Utilize CRM systems to maintain accurate customer credit records. • Perform auditing tasks as needed to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Execute billing functions as required. • Ensure high attention to detail in all tasks, including data entry. Requirements • Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a Bank Teller or a similar role in the banking industry. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Knowledge of Aderant software is a definite asset. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential. • Experience with Costpoint is highly desirable. • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is necessary. • Familiarity with About Time software is a plus. • The candidate should have a solid understanding of basic Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. • Auditing skills are a must-have for this role. • The candidate should be proficient in Billing Functions. • Familiarity with Banking Operation is required. • The candidate should have the ability to manage Cash Balances effectively. • Experience with Cash Deposits is necessary. • The candidate should have experience with Cash Disbursements. • The ability to handle Cash Drawers is essential. • Outstanding Customer Service skills are a must-have for this role.
