Citibank, N.A. seeks a Banker for its San Francisco, CA location. Duties: Assist with day-to-day cash management activities, trading initiatives, vendor finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets efforts, share repurchase and interest rate/equity derivatives. Coordinate with Bankers in cross-selling full spectrum of products and services by identifying customer needs to generate revenue. Evaluate public filings, research reports, operations, business plans, and financial forecasts to produce strategic and financial analyses. Responsible for staying abreast of market and industry trends, “best practices” and competitive landscape. Support Senior Bankers in their efforts to win new business. Collaborate and partner with product managers including but not limited to Financial Strategy Group, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Treasury and Trade Solutions, and Investment Banking to develop and implement solutions addressing clients’ diverse financing needs. Utilize Citi’s CitiRisk platform, Risk Rating methodology, and other tools to guide decision making with regards to the extension of credit to existing, new and prospective clients. Develop long-term account planning strategy for existing and prospective clients. Support Senior Bankers in successfully positioning Citi for long-term success by ensuring a strong pipeline of banking revenue opportunities. Work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process for a debt offering. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Preparing credit reports outlining a Company’s financial and business risk profile; Conducting analysis including accounting, financial and business analysis, industry and economic research as well as various financial modeling scenarios to evaluate credit profiles; Performing macroeconomic analysis to assess economic impact of exogenous factors on coverage companies and the industries in which they operate; Organizing and analyzing data in preparation of internal credit memos that accurately address a company’s key credit strengths/weaknesses; Conducting database analysis and utilization of investment systems, including FactSet to assess the financial and business risk profile of companies; and Working alongside internal and external legal counsel to review and execute legal documentation.
