Job Description:At Regions, the Product Manager assists in the development, execution, and tracking of marketing or business segments programs for a product or product line by collecting, analyzing, and reporting marketing and sales performance data.
Primary Responsibilities
Participates and provides input on promotional, marketing, and communication programs for all specified products and services as well as produce standard management reportingResearches and compiles business and industry competitive data to analyze and develop tactics to achieve strategic goalsPrepares and/or provides support in the preparation and delivery of training and sales toolsActs as a subject matter expert, point of contact, and lead of special projects pertaining to specified products and servicesUnderstands industry research around customer behaviors, new product offerings, new providers, and regulatory impacts while keeping business unit and product development heads informedAssists in vendor relationship management including responding and sending requests, managing risks, and ensuring compliance adherenceEnsures risk management throughout the life cycle of each product, ensuring proper risk controls and monitoring, and compliance with regulatory risk and operational riskDevelops products and enhances services to remain competitive in the marketplace while ensuring adherence to all of Regions’ compliance and regulatory standardMay participate in new product development and provide geography support as necessaryMay recommend marketing strategies including advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans, and future product developmentAssists with basic projectsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degreeThree (3) years of experience in product development/management, market research, or directly related experiencePreferences
Experience within the financial industry or with a banking institutionProduct Management ExperienceProficient in data manipulationSkills and Competencies

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
