Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal in Dallas. You would be joining a well-established law firm that provides legal services across various industries. This opportunity is direct hire, full time, and fully on-site.

Responsibilities:

Perform administrative tasks such as calendaring hearings and deadlines, and managing logisticsMaintain and organize bankruptcy case files, ensuring accuracy and completenessDraft, review, and file legal documents, including bankruptcy petitions, schedules, motions, and agreementsConduct research on bankruptcy law and procedures, including the Uniform Commercial Code; gather relevant information from various sourcesCommunicate effectively with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and other parties involved in bankruptcy casesMonitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders and local rulesAssist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials, including gathering evidence and preparing witness statementsGather and analyze financial information related to the debtor's assets, liabilities, and debtsFile and write proof of claims, providing supporting documentsStay updated on changes in bankruptcy law and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' of experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal in a law firm setting, requiredParalegal associate's degree or other relevant certificationProficiency with technology for document management, electronic filing, and legal researchStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExhibit strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
