An established bankruptcy law firm is hiring a Bankruptcy Paralegal in Palm City, 34990. This is a permanent position offering part time hours. Benefits are offered. Pay is negotiable & commensurate with qualifications. Est pay $30.00

About the law firm: Sole practitioner that has been serving the area for over 15 years is hiring a part time paralegal. This is a small office with a professional environment and a friendly support staff.

About the position: The BK paralegal will be responsible for handling Bankruptcy codes, chapter 7, chapter 13, chapter 11 and sub chapter 5 bankruptcies. Ideal applicants will be comfortable with the BK proceedings from gathering supporting documents, preparing legal documents, E-filing through notice of discharge. Work with debtors gathering creditor documents, prepare petitions, motions, etc. Experience with 341 meetings is nice but not required. We will consider bankruptcy paralegals with experience working for a bankruptcy trustee’s office as well.

Minimum Requirements
2+ years of Bankruptcy legal experience
Experience filing in the Southern District courts is strongly preferred
