JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their duties Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift. Maintain organizations, cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services. Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service. Ability to have and make conversation Know guidelines for serving alcohol with care. Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests Ability to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks Maintain and organize bars and storerooms Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals Ability to operate a glassware washing machine Ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines Knowledge of product Maintain proper inventory of product Maintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all times All other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others. Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
