About the Role:
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Banquet Cook I to join our dynamic Banquets culinary team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

What you will do:

Prepare food items according to guest orders, follow food recipes

Create and present your own dishes and show your culinary passion and have input on dishes to add to our menu

Take the leadership role and expedite in the absence of a supervisor

Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs.

Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.

Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all department of health policies are implemented.

What you will bring:

One to two years’ experience working in culinary preferred

ServSafe certification required

Work authorization in the United States

Schedule & Hours:

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work a flexible work schedule- Mornings, Nights, Weekends and Holidays.
