Seeking Monday night availablity and some Saturday's. 

 

Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)

 

Responsible for banquet function set ups and breakdowns, as well as maintenance, storage and organization of banquet equipment.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

Set up event space in a timely and safe fashion according to instructions/details outlined on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and floor plans; chairs, tables, linen, displays, etc. Refresh meeting rooms during scheduled breaks or upon request. Breakdown and clean-up of event space in a timely and safe fashion. Storage and organization of banquets equipment. Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Familiar with various types of room set ups (classroom, rounds, hollow square, etc.). Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment and accommodate last minute changes. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) 

Two – three years of banquet houseperson experience is preferred.Must be RAMP and Serv-Safe certified. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for the position.

Educational Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required. 

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift at least 75lbs or more at times. Roll at least 10 banquet chairs at a time. Physically fit, able to stand/walk/move for extended hours.

 Working Conditions

24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
