What will you do? Set up tables following the banquet event orders Serve food and beverages to guests promptly; replenish buffet line food as needed Monitor guest needs, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handle any guest complaints Follow all alcoholic beverage policies and procedures Break down the event according to company procedures More about you Must be at least 16 years old Minimum of 1-3 months of previous experience in food beverage service or related guest service environment preferred Ability to complete the required pre-employment food safety and alcohol service training Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple table assignments at one time Ability to work with the varying event schedule is preferred Strong communication skills, including listening skills and the ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly Physical requirements Ability to lift to 35 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up of functions Ability to stand or walk for the entire length of the shift; may include walking up and down stairs Good mobility to maneuver between tables to deliver food to customers Oversee events indoors as well as outdoors, regardless of weather conditions May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending onthe season Shift detailsDay shift
