We are currently seeking a On Call Banquet Server
POSITION PURPOSE: Create a unique and memorable experience that will leave a lasting impression on our guests. A Banquet Server is tasked with assisting in the preparation of the event as well as serving food and beverages to our guestsduring banquet/catering functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment and breaks down assigned banquet rooms according to contract and manager's instructions.
Perform pre- and post-shift work such as set up, coffee stations, bread stations, etc.
Service of food and beverages according to standards.
Respond to guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction; notify supervisor of guest complaints or unusual situations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to comprehend English in order to receive instructions from captains, managers and guests. Spanish language comprehension is valued.
Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
Ability to lift 10 dinners.
No experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
