The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center is looking for a personable and dependable individual to join our exceptional Events team! As a Banquet Server, you will set tables and decor, serve and interact with guests, and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attending rehearsal dinners, weddings, and other catered events. As a Banquet Server, you will be a part of this team on a part-time seasonal, on call basis; this position does not include housing. Weekends, nights, and holiday availability is required, as those are the most popular event times. Banquet Server Responsibilities, Requirements, & Skills: + Set tables and decor prior to events. + Serve food- both from buffets and table service. + Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests. + Buss tables. + Clean event rooms following the event. + Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. + Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. + Serving experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates. Physical Requirements: + Prolonged periods of standing, walking and carrying heavy trays. + Must be able to work early mornings, late night, weekends, and unpredictable hours- including the potential for holidays.
