The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Key Job Functions

Maintain Pleasant personality and demeanor throughout the functionProvide food service for banquet events in accordance with Hotel & Banquet standardsSetup action stations, Cook (ie: simmer, brown, sauté, Serve patrons at action stations in accordance with head chef plate presentation and garnishesSetup banquet buffet displays both hot, and cold in allotted timeMaintain food levels at those displaysEngage guest(s) at banquets events in order to determine food allergies, preferences, and dietary needs. Report those needs and preferences to the proper Banquet captain(s)Proper coffee brewing and tea brewing techniques are expected of all banquet staffServer must be familiar with seating positions for plated events as well as proper serving techniques for proper food placement at guest tables during that synchronized serviceCompletes all daily side duties, post function clean up, organization, and deep cleaning of affected work areasReport to all necessary pre shift, and post shift meetings with banquet leadershipReport to banquet leadership for inspection of completed work responsibilities before leaving the hotel propertyStore all banquet & hotel equipment used in an orderly and clean fashion in accordance with banquet captain, banquet assistant manager, banquet manager, and banquet director’s instructionBuild solid relationship with your ColleaguesTreat colleagues with respect and dignityBalance team and individual responsibilitiesExhibit objectivity and openness to others' viewsAble to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectivesSupport everyone's efforts to succeed.Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Pay Range

Pay Range $16.00-$16.50/hr.  Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
