Overview of the roleAs a Banquet Server, you will ensure the seamless execution of banquet events to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role involves all aspects of event service, including welcoming guests, serving food and beverages, and setting up and breaking down event spaces. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for guests while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help elevate the success of every event.
Previous experience in hospitality or banquet serving.
Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
Proficiency in using technology such as computers, tablets, POS systems, and iPads.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of food and beverage service practices.
Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to alcohol service and consumption.
High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).

What you’ll doPrepare banquet spaces and other designated areas as specified in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Arrange tables with proper placement of dishes, silverware, glasses, chafers, serving ware, linens, décor, and condiments.
Pre-set tables with water, menus, and salads as required.
Greet and serve guests in a professional and hospitable manner.
Ensure accurate delivery of meals, accommodating allergies and special meal requests.
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to local laws and verifying guest age as required.
Maintain and manage assigned stations during events, replenishing items as needed.
Notify supervisors of any issues or adjustments necessary to maintain a high-quality guest experience.
Clear tables and event spaces promptly and efficiently at the end of the function.
Remove food receptacles, linens, and décor, ensuring spaces are left clean and organized.
Assist with other related tasks as reasonably assigned by management.
Physical DemandAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
