Overview Assist hotel's banquet set-up team with room assignments, table and stage set up and breakdown. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and service areas. Routinely do inventory for banquet supplies such as linens, chairs, setting up dance floors, podiums, etc. Setting up the banquets room per the specification of a banquet event order, and then reset the room to its original state after the event has concluded. During the event, duties include assisting servers, transporting tables and equipment, reporting maintenance issues to management, and providing requested information to banquet patrons. Ensures accuracy of banquet event set-up configurations and are responsive to clients’ needs and set-up changes. Qualifications Having strong people skills and yearning to please your customers. Very physically demanding position, requires lots of lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and walking. Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
