Job Description Supervise servers/bartenders on the floor, make sure food is presented neatly, served on time and that all functions are coordinated properly. Responsibilities + ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Responsible for controlling all aspects in the execution of banquet functions. + Read and understand BEOs + Effectively supervise and coordinating the Banquet staff during all food and beverage service. + Effectively communicate with Culinary staff and other management staff to ensure success of all functions. + Responsible for adhering to property/company policies and procedures. + Responsible for adhering to all liquor liability laws. + Responsible for all accurate billing, to include Micros and Delphi postings and all liquor consumption reports + Must assist/conduct all designated staff/pre-function meetings. + Computer Skills, (Outlook, Delphi, Excel) + Attend all property/department meetings + Assist the Banquet Manager in the complete operation of the Banquet Department. + HOTEL SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS + To know all general information about the property and be able to accurately answer all guests questions. + To know layout of the property and all meeting room names and locations. + TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: + Computer, coffee maker/urn, toaster, , beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil, Micros + WORKING ENVIRONMENT: + Interior/Exterior of hotel, in the restaurant, lounge and kitchen areas, with exposure to extreme temperatures. + Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals. + Exposure to food items and beverages .
