We are now recruiting for a Bar and Restaurant Manager at the stunning DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole. The hotel was refurbished last year and is host to both corporate and leisure clientele. It is well positioned, right on Brighton's seafront, and just a 15 minute walk from Brighton Train Station.
\n\nWhat will I be doing?
As Bar and Restaurant Manager you will manage the Metropole Bar and the 1890 at the Met Restaurant. You will motivate the team to maintain a high quality, efficient service that adds to our exceptional Guest experiences, and is in accordance with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages. More specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.
\n\nMaintain an effective bar and restaurant service with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service.\nCheck that Guest service standards are set, implemented and monitored, and continuously evaluated\nComply with licensing regulations and hotel procedures relating to the bar and service of alcoholic beverages and conduct staff training sessions accordingly\nDemonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverages and food offered at the bar and at in the restaurant\nEnsure compliance with the proper training of all Company Health and Safety, Fire Regulations and procedures\nEnsure all Team Members are impeccably presented\nEvaluate the performance of the Team ensuring the highest standards of service are given at all times\nComplete all necessary administration in accordance with Company procedures relating to all staff members\nProduce effective revenue forecasting, as per timelines, and communicate forecasts to the Food and Beverage office\nMaximise revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, service standards, training and motivational techniques\nMeet or exceed the monthly profit margin target\n\nWhat are we looking for?
