Job Description

We are currently looking for a Bar & Gaming Attendant to join our team at Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel. This casual position will have the opportunity to work across both the gaming and bar departments of the Hotel. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

Accurately taking and processing guest orders in a timely and efficient mannerOverseeing the gaming area, ensuring guests comply with all gaming regulations, providing assistance when needed, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all playersDemonstrating in-depth knowledge of our beverage menu, memorizing its contents, and providing expert recommendations based on guest preferencesPreparing and serving drinks to guests with attention to detail and a focus on presentationEnsuring strict adherence to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards and guidelinesOffering exceptional customer service, consistently going above and beyond to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for each guest

QualificationsA friendly, approachable, and positive attitude, with a natural ability to engage and build rapport with guestsPrevious experience in waitstaff, bar service, or a similar hospitality role, with a strong understanding of the demands of the industryA valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) qualification, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standardsImpeccable personal presentation, with a professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbalA reliable and punctual work ethic, with the ability to act with a sense of urgency when required to meet guest needs and operational demandsFlexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shiftsA commitment to being available to work weekends, ensuring seamless service for our guests throughout the week
