THE JOB:

It is the responsibility of the Bar Porter & Apprentice to stock all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products and other necessary items needed for efficient operation within beverage outlets while performing excellent guest service.  

THE STARTING RATE: $22.1229

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items

Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation and work area, to include cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors to maintain sanitary conditions

Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least six months of food or beverage runner/server experience

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Ability to multi‐task and work well in a fast paced, team‐oriented environment

Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment

Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
