JOB SUMMARY:
Using various types of equipment, materials, and techniques, maintain the physical appearance of the Hotel’s Beverage outlets, corridors, foyers and storerooms at levels of standards set by management. Remove and compact trash from floors and keep the department supply areas organized and clean. Perform inventories and deliver/stock supplies as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prior beverage experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a Health card. Must understand, speak, read, and write English. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Retrieve requested beverages from storage dock, and manually push loaded carts to designated storage area and bars. Must be able to push garbage cart and dollies on casino floor. Must be able to load ice, load beer, and glassware to stock at all bars. Must be able to scrub, mop and power wash mats and floors behind bars. Must be able to change garbage cans and dump garbage out on loading dock. Must be able to change soda bibs and liquor bottles in pump rooms. Must be able to lift a keg of beer that ways up to 75 pounds. Must be able to change a keg of beer. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company’s policies. Perform other duties assigned by Management. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to push/pull 50 - 100 lbs. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Must present a neat and professional appearance. Work requires flexibility to work various shifts. Work requires ability to lift and carry approximately 110 - 120 pounds and ability to push and/or pull approximately 300 - 400 pounds on wheels. Work requires visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment. Work requires attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public. Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 15-20lbs repeatedly. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
