GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

The Barback performs event driven support of full-service bar and liquor locations for Pensacola Bay Center and Pensacola Saenger Theatre events.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure all transfers are fulfilled fully and received from warehouse without discrepancy or shortagesAssist Bartenders with maintaining the cleanliness and delivery of products and supplies for all bar locationsResponsible for the completion of setup, as well as prep, opening and closing duties as assigned by the F&B Manager or designeeAdhere to company and state guidelines when serving alcohol and alcoholic beveragesMaintain a professional presentation, appearance, and work ethicUnderstand and be capable of ensuring that all policies and procedures are followedPerforms other duties as required and/or assigned

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

No supervisory responsibilities assigned to this position

Detailed oriented with good organizational and communication skillsAbility to operate industry related equipmentDemonstrated knowledge of industry terms and the ability to operate industry related equipment is a plusAbility to exercise judgment and initiative in addressing and completing assigned tasksMust be able to pass a credit check and meet corporate minimum requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required

COMPUTER SKILLS:

No Computer Skills required for this position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must have or obtain and maintain Serv Safe alcohol training certification.
