Position Summary:ADM is seeking a laborer to work as a barge cleaner at our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) location in Winona, MN.Job Duties: Cleaning Barges - decks, hoppers, and coversBarge cleaning prep - pumps, wash hose, and hooking up craneGeneral upkeep of crane barges, shops, and yardLearn hand signals for crane operationsAssisting harbor boat, mechanics, and welders may also be requiredWelding and metal fabrication is desired but not requiredJob Requirements:Experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work safely, exercise initiative and good judgmentAbility to work in a flexible way that allows for changes in assignments and priorities depending upon identified needsAbility to work well independently as well as part of a teamPromote the ADM Way and core valuesPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, pump and shingle barges, learn barge terminology, learn emergency proceduresMust be able to work in all types of climatesMust pass a pre-employment Company human performance exam (physical ability test)ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
