The Surgical Fellow learns and practices medical care to perioperative patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Surgical Fellow works closely with experienced surgeons and learns advanced surgical techniques, providing the Surgical Fellow with valuable experience and skills necessary to pursue a rewarding career in medicine.

Job Responsibilities

 

Works with experienced surgeons to develop advanced surgical techniques. Provides patient care before and after surgical procedures. Assists in surgery, including preoperative preparations and postoperative care. Studies patient medical histories and test results to develop safe surgical plans. Communicates with patients and their families to ensure proper care and follow-up. Participates in ongoing professional development activities to increase knowledge and skills in their field of specialty. May perform additional duties as assigned.
