Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Starbucks barista, you willl create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products.You will be in an energetic store environment where you will have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends and meet new people every day.A cup of coffee and smile can go a long way, and we believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each customers day.True to Our Mission & Values, working together we can inspire and nurture the human spirit, one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.

 

Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment.Cleaning service and seating areas.Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.Servicing customers and taking orders.Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies.Receiving and processing customer payments. 



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma preferred.Experience in food service, hospitality or customer service preferred.Demonstrated skills in customer service, critical thinking, problem solving and written and verbal communication.Ability to make sound judgments while quickly processing information.Proficient computer and web-based software skills including the ability to adapt to regular changes in software programs and processes.Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English.Ability to follow and give oral and written instructions.Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with patients, patient family members, hospital personnel and co-workers.
