THE JOB:

As a Starbucks Barista at MGM Grand, you'll be at the forefront of creating exceptional guest experiences. Your warm smile and outstanding service will set the stage for every visitor. By crafting delicious beverages and serving pastries with care, you'll connect with each guest, understanding their unique needs and preferences. Through your dedication, you'll help create WOW moments that guests will remember long after their stay with us.

STARTING RATE: $15.4967 hourly, plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Efficiently take, place, and serve orders, ensuring food and beverages are prepared and garnished accurately according to guest specifications.

Rotate shifts between the district and lobby Starbucks locations within MGM Grand

Expertise in processing cash transactions, adhering to all proper cash handling and complimentary procedures to ensure accuracy and security.

Skillful in packing and completing guest orders based on their preferences, including providing necessary condiments.

Committed to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment in both front and back of house, including clearing tables, sweeping dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming guest atmosphere.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Experience in a barista or similar customer service role

Previous experience working in a similar resort or casino setting

Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building positive relationships with guests

Experience in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
