THE JOB:
 

As a Barista for our Starbucks at Mandalay Place, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding guest service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in making sure guests feel welcome and enjoy their Starbucks experience, all while working with a dynamic and supportive team. If you have experience in a high-energy café or coffee shop and a passion for customer service, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.78 Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso, cold beverages, and blended drinks to meet both Starbucks and MGM service standards.Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking and placing orders, and managing guest transactions with proper cash handling procedures.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front and back of the house, restocking products, clearing tables, and ensuring the dining area is tidy.Stock and replenish inventory, including receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.Follow safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures to ensure all products meet health and safety standards.Assist with opening and closing duties, as assigned.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 18 years of age or older.1 year or more of previous experience in a fast-paced café or coffee shop.Familiar with espresso machines, cold bar preparation, and specialty drink crafting.Strong time management skills, with a focus on timeliness, reliability, and customer satisfaction.Familiarity with mobile order systems is a plus.Enthusiastic and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
