QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year+ of bartending experience.
1 year+ of fine dining or high-end resort experience.
Extensive liquor, beer, wine, and mixology knowledge.
Excellent customer service skills.
Pleasant and helpful personality.
REQUIREMENTS
Immediately greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
Take and return guests' coats as needed.
Compose and be knowledgeable of standard drinks and liquors or wines specific to the restaurant bar.
Plan and maintain par levels for bar inventory.
Prepare daily orders for bar items to maintain pars.
Responsible for cash handling and bank procedures as outlined by General Manager or supervising agent.
Perform accurate bar inventory on the 10th, 20th, and last day of each month or as deemed necessary by General Manager.
Responsible for learning suggestive selling techniques and using them during services.
Maintain cleanliness of all work areas that apply to the bar.
Maintain a perfectly crisp uniform.
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Deliver cocktails to tables as needed.
Assist in other Food and Beverage departments as needed.
ENVIRONMENT
Dimly lit, carpeted, climate-controlled environment. Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery or greasy areas. Handling hot china and silver.
