Bartender weekends needed Food servers, also known as waiters or waitresses, perform a variety of tasks to ensure that diners have a pleasant dining experience. Here are some common tasks they typically handle: 1. **Greeting Customers** : When customers arrive, food servers welcome them, provide menus, and assist with seating if necessary. 2. **Taking Orders** : Food servers take food and drink orders from customers, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions. They may also provide recommendations if asked. 3. **Entering Orders** : In some establishments, food servers input orders into a computer system to send them to the kitchen or bar. 4. **Serving Food and Drinks** : Once orders are ready, food servers bring them to the table, ensuring accuracy and presentation. They may also refill drinks throughout the meal. 5. **Checking on Customers** : Food servers periodically check on customers to ensure they have everything they need, such as condiments or additional drinks, and to address any concerns or issues. 6. **Clearing Tables** : After customers finish their meals, food servers clear the table of used dishes and utensils, and prepare it for the next diners. **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
